Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan presented President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and National Leader of the Turkmen People Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with two TOGG electric cars as a gift.
Minister of Industry and Technologies of Türkiye Mehmet Fatih Kacir, Chairman of the Board of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye Rifat Hisarciklioglu and representatives of TOGG presented two electric cars to the President of Turkmenistan at the opening ceremony of Arkadag city.
According to Turkish news agency Anadolu, President Berdimuhamedov tested the cars and expressed his satisfaction.
The "TOGG" electric car plant was opened in the Turkish province of Bursa last October.The car is produced in two modifications: with an electric engine of 200 and 400 horsepower.
The most powerful version can gain speed up to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds.TOGG is also planning to produce four more models, including a C-class sedan, which is scheduled to appear on the assembly line in 2024.
