The festive events, dedicated to the upcoming national holiday the Turkmen Horse Day were held in the administrative center of Lebap Velayat with the participation of the government officials, the representatives of the Mejlis, ministries and departments, mass media, and numerous guests.
The festivities were arranged in the building of the Lebap Velayat Library.The exhibition of works by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was organized in the foyer of the building.
The books dedicated to heavenly’ horses: “A Horse is a Symbol of Faithfulness and Happiness”, “Ahalteke Horse is Our Pride and Glory”, “Swift Step of a Race Horse” occupied the special place among them.
The presentation of book A Horse a Symbol of Faithfulness and Happiness” by the President of Turkmenistan in the Arabic, German and Turkish languages took place in the conference hall of the Lebap Velayat Library.
Among the participants to the festivity were Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Turkmenistan Neithart Höfer-Wissing, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Turkmenistan Togan Oral, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Turkmenistan Abdul-Aziz Al-Hashimi.
The diplomats noted that the work of the Turkmen leader aroused great interest among readers of the countries they represent.This gives them the opportunity to get acquainted with the history and current level of Ahalteke horse breeding, learn a lot about the stages of development of horse breeding in Turkmenistan.
During the presentation, a member of the International Ahalteke Horse Breeding Association, Director of the Horse Breeding Company Jeykob Ferdezuct GBR of the Federal Republic of Germany, Katerina-Irena Jeyob, made a video call.
She told about the contribution of the Association to a wide study of the experience of Turkmen horse breeders in raising Ahalteke horses, incomparable in beauty and endurance.An exhibition of artifacts discovered during archaeological excavations in 2020 in the Ahal and Lebap Velayats was arranged in the foyer of the library.
