President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping sent a letter to President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the congratulatory message on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, TDH reports.
In his letter, Xi Jinping noted the importance of bilateral relations between China and Turkmenistan, emphasizing that last year he and Serdar Berdimuhamedov met twice and announced the elevation of Chinese-Turkmen relations to the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership.
An agreement was also reached on the implementation of the concept of the Community of Shared Destiny at the bilateral level.
Xi Jinping expressed his readiness to continue joint efforts to develop Chinese-Turkmen relations, focusing on the goals of building a powerful state and reviving the nation of the two countries. In conclusion, he wished Serdar Berdimuhamedov good health and well-being, and Turkmenistan progress and prosperity.
