Installation of open distribution devices for new gas turbine power station, which are built by Japanese Sumitomo Corporation and Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems and Turkish Rönesans Holding, is under completion at the territory of Lebap State Power Station.
New generating facility will include three 144 Mega Watt gas turbine units of Japanese Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems.Turkish Rönesans Holding to build administration building where automatic control system will be installed.
The project is financed by Japanese Bank of International Cooperation, which has entered into credit agreement with the Bank of Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan. 432 Mega Watt power station will be the tenth generating facility, which was built since the beginning of the century.
Their total output capacity is 6,511 Mega Watt.Commission of the power station in 2021 will be an important step in realization of the strategy of increment of annual volume of energy produced in Turkmenistan up to 33 billion kilowatts per hour and export growth strategy.
