Poultry Farm in Mary Produces 75 Thousand Eggs Daily

About 75 thousand eggs are collected daily at the poultry farm of businessman Anna Orazmammedov, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, the Rysgal newspaper reported in its Monday edition.

The poultry complex, located in Mary district of Mary province, raises thousands chickens for meat and eggs. The poultry has 86,000 laying hens, which eggs differ in size and taste.

According to the report, about 100,000 broiler chickens have been put into production and sent to retail outlets under the “Kekeç” brand.

On 80 hectares of the 100 hectares of land allocated to the businessman on a long-term basis, fodder crops for the poultry farm are grown. The crops are harvested from year to year and the chickens in the poultry complex are always fed.
