Pantone announced the main color of 2025

Pantone has announced that the main color of the next year will be Mocha Mousse. This exquisite chocolate-brown shade, reminiscent of delicate mousse, brings a sense of lightness and comfort to our lives. This is stated on the website of the Pantone Color Institute, writes “MIR 24”.

Mocha Mousse was chosen for its expressiveness, versatility and ability to evoke pleasant associations. The Institute's executive director, Leatrice Eiseman, notes that this color can be both organic and elegant, perfectly harmonizing with any color type.

“Sophisticated and rich, yet unpretentiously classic, this color expands our understanding of brown from humble and earthy to inspiring and luxurious,” says Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute.

Vanessa Friedman, fashion critic for The New York Times, points out that this is the first time in 26 years that a brown shade has become the color of the year.

Let us remind that in 2024, the color of the year was chosen to be a delicate peach shade called Peach Fuzz, associated with warmth and comfort.
