Painter Polat Annamuradov presents a number of industrial landscapes

In the sixties of the last century, the Union of Artists set the task for artists to adopt an industrial theme.Artists were confused: factories and plants with specific attributes did not fit into the idea of the beauty.

However, a little while the painter Stanislav Babikov created the canvases in the given theme, which caused surprise among his colleagues: beauty, as it turned out, is in everything...

The personal exhibition of Polat Annamuradov dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the painter is presented in the exhibition center of the Union of Artists of Turkmenistan. The Balkan artist presented about 90 works, most of which are industrial landscapes.

For so long we have not come across this subject in a picturesque interpretation, that the exhibition caused great interest.

The exhibition opens with a self-portrait of Polat Annamuradov, dating back to 1985.A young man looks at us, whose eyes are full of hope for a beautiful future.

Polat is a graduate of the Turkmen State Art School. The exposition presents a gallery of portraits of his classmates made in pencil.Different characters, but something common slips between them as people who have become one family.

Polat presented them by their names, not by their surnames: "Aman", "Lena", "Sveta", etc.

The reality after the end of the school was not the one Polat dreamed about. In the town where he came from, oilmen enjoyed greater relevance than artists did.

This prompted him to change his profession. He became a drilling master.Friends experienced, believing that Polat "buried" an artist in himself. But in practice it was different.

Polat plunged into the "proposed circumstances", finding his theme in painting.

Two pictures under the general name "Nebildagtsy" are presented in the exposition. On one are three oil producers against the background of the drilling rig.The picture is sustained in a saturated palette: golden sandy hills, a blue sky, a bright sunny day, but in the foreground - people, or rather, their professional enthusiasm.

In another picture - a group of workers discussing the work plan.

In the picture "Practitioners" students who arrived at the drilling site, look at each other and the terrain. Once Polat himself was a rookie in the brigade, and for sure, he gave his first impressions in this work.

It is noteworthy that the man of labor is presented in the paintings of Polat Annamuradov necessarily in the team. The author does not specifically draw the faces of the drillers, does not distinguish their individuality, wishing, apparently, to emphasize that the main thing is the team spirit.

The industrial landscapes look interesting on the pictures. On a truck with a large trailer is an intricate technique. All the same favorite palette - golden sands, a blue sky with thick curly clouds, small details, underlined in red.

In the painting "Offshore Drilling" the author somewhat changes his usual palette. The golden sands are replaced by the sea surface. Drilling, neatly painted in white and red colors, somewhat resembles a steamer in a boundless sea. In general, a bright palette characterizes the works of Polat Annamuradov, from which contemplation of his paintings gives a sense of joy.

One more painting attracted my attention - "Seascape". It is interesting in the underlining conciseness of the plot - the sea and the sky, with virtually no visual boundaries and spatial accents, which enriches the overall perception palette.

Polat surprised everyone with his personal exhibition. He proved that there are no former artists. In addition, he gave the image of a man of work with great respect, almost praised him, but not pathetically, but in the style of a picturesque interpretation.
