It is considered the possibility to launch the industrial production of graphite from petroleum coke there.The first batch of this product has been already manufactured at the experimental unit installed at the enterprise.

The technological innovations includes the production of glass by the float method.This technology was used for the project on construction of an industrial complex, including a quartz sand production factory and a glass factory.
A shop for the preparation of raw materials, a line for the production of container and float glass, its industrial processing, workshops, warehouses, administrative and utility premises arise on 24 hectares.
Two dormitories and two dwelling houses were built for future workers.The plant with a capacity of 7.2 million square meters of glass per year is designed for the production of seven types of products, including transparent and tinted, laminated and tempered glass for the manufacture of insulating glass, as well as a variety of containers, including bottles for medical products.
The glass production will significantly reduce imports in this product segment and successfully export products.
Soon Owadandepe will become the largest centre of the gas chemical industry.The gasoline production plant is under construction in Owadandepe.Supplied with the latest equipment, the enterprise will annually process 1.782 billion cubic meters of natural gas and produce 600,000 tons of Euro-5 gasoline.
It is also planned to produce 12 thousand tons of diesel fuel and 115 thousand tons of liquefied gas per year.This enterprise will be the first one in the world to produce environmentally friendly gasoline based on natural gas processing.
In October 2015, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, according to which a the Turkmengaz State Concern and the consortium of LG International Corp., Hyundai Engineering Co., Republic of Korea and Itochu Corporation (Japan) concluded the contract on construction of the synthetic liquid fuels production plant through the processing of natural gas.
The project capacity of the new plant is 3.5 billion cubic meters of blue fuel’ and 1.7 million tons of products per year.
To provide industrial enterprises with electricity, the new gas turbine power plant with a total capacity of 504.4 MW was built in Owadandepe. This made Owadandepe one of the largest power production centers in the country. The power plant ensures uninterrupted power supply to the industrial infrastructure of Owadandepe and increases the export potential of the industry.
