OSCE training on digital journalism started in Ashgabat

A training session by the OSCE Center in Ashgabat on the preparation of information and thematic materials for digital media has begun in the Turkmen capital, a Turkmenportal correspondent reports.

The three-day intensive course, led by international experts, is designed to improve the skills of journalists in producing content for online platforms.

The course will examine the features of journalism in the digital space, mobile journalism, content visualization, working with data and infographics, creating podcasts and videos for social networks. A separate block will be devoted to ethical aspects and information security on the Internet.

The training is conducted by invited experts: Vitaly Rugain from Belarus and Marek Bekerman from the UK.At the opening ceremony of the training, the head of the OSCE Center in Ashgabat, John MacGregor, noted the importance of improving the professional skills of journalists in the digital age to ensure high-quality and objective coverage of events in the country and the world.
