The second online Olympiad in the Chinese language among students of universities in Turkmenistan, organized by the International University for Humanities and Development, has summed up the results, according to the publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
The participants of the Olympiad performed in two categories. In the first, students specializing in the study of the Chinese language and literature were assessed, in the second, representatives of other areas of university training.
In the first category, the winners were: Sabina Shohratjanova (Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly); Altyn Hanova and Chinar Maksadova (Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S. Seidi).
Students of these universities, as well as the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi are among the 18 prize-winners of the Olympiad, 9 of which received second places and the same amount - third.
In the second category, 1st place was taken by: Shabibi Beshimova, Begench Magtymgulyev, Rustem Gurbanov, Muhammet Gochmammedov, Nurmuhammet Kadyrov, Ejegul Yazylova.They represent the International University for Humanities and Development, the Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan, the IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country, the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management.
9 second and 13 third places are in the assets of connoisseurs of the Chinese language from the above universities (in the 2nd category), as well as the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after M. Garryev and TNIWL D.Azadi. 13 students received honorable mentions.
The Olympiad was held in Turkmen and English. The 1st online Chinese Olympiad was organized by the IUHD in the fall of 2020, according to a source.
