On the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan, an exhibition opened in the Ashgabat museum

An exhibition of Turkmen artists dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the country’s independence opened at the State Museum of Fine Arts of Turkmenistan.

There are works of painting and ceramics on display here. The exhibits were also borrowed from the storerooms of the museum of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan.

According to the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, among the paintings are works by Aziz Ovezmuradov, Ainabat Akmuhammedov and Gyzylgul Hudayberdiyev, in which the city of Ashgabat is glorified.

The painting by monumentalist Valentin Kudryashov about the historical monument of Parthia against the backdrop of blooming white marble Ashgabat closely connects with the past and present of the Turkmen people.

The painting “Family” by Rahim Annanurov depicts a young happy family walking along one of the central streets of the capital.

The paintings by Tamara Kiseleva “Folk Song about Ashgabat” and Ovezmuhammed Akmuhammedov “The Secret of the Mukams” are dedicated to folk storytellers - bagshy.

The exhibition exhibits demonstrate the history and modern life of the Turkmen people, celebrating the 32nd anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan.
