Oil inflow increased in Cheleken peninsula in Turkmenistan

For 11 months of this year, the volume of oil production from the operating wells of the Cheleken Peninsula amounted to 49 thousand 883 tons. More than 4 thousand tons of raw materials were produced in excess of the established plan, according to the publication Nebit-Gaz.

According to geologists, the prospective subsoil of Cheleken contains significant oil reserves.

Oil workers "Galkynyshnebit" of the State Concern "Turkmennebit", using innovative equipment, have reached a new quality level of work in the development of deposits on the peninsula. Well development is carried out at a design depth of 1200-2750 meters. Since the beginning of this year, a number of wells have been overhauled.

So, at the Dagadzhik site at a well with low productivity, a number of works were carried out to increase the flow rate of the well. The result is an abundant flow of oil. At present, the daily productivity of the well is 25 tons, the source specifies.

The specialists of the “Nebitdag” drilling department have successfully completed work on the next well at a depth of 1 200 meters. The daily flow rate of the new well № 654 put into operation is more than 6 tons of crude oil.

At this time, specialists from the “Goturdepe” Drilling Department are preparing to start exploration work at well № 707 at the West Cheleken site. As a result of development, it is expected to receive an abundant flow of oil.
