OHCHR conducts human rights trainings for youth with disabilities in Ashgabat

The third training within the "School on Human Rights for Youth with Disabilities" was held in Ashgabat by the Regional Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) for Central Asia.

According to the Orient edition, the participants of the training got acquainted with the activities of state institutions and international structures to promote and realize the rights of persons with disabilities.

Thus, the work of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the office of the Ombudsman of Turkmenistan, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the Yenme public organization was considered.

The "Human Rights School for Youth with Disabilities" was launched in April this year. 18 representatives of youth participate as listeners of the School, the source notes.
