North Khorasan put forward proposals to expand cooperation with Ahal velayat

As we have already reported, the Turkmen delegation led by the hyakim of the Ahal velayat R. Hojagulyev paid a working visit to the Iranian province of North Khorasan.

Representatives of the private sector of the Ahal velayat, who were part of the delegation, visited large industrial facilities in the province of North Khorasan and held meetings with Iranian businessmen on export and import opportunities.

During a series of meetings held with the head of the Turkmen delegation, the Iranian side voiced its proposals to expand mutual cooperation.

In particular, it was proposed to open a border crossing between the two regions, given the large number of Turkmen citizens living in the North Khorasan province.

There was also a proposal to hold a joint beauty contest among horses.

Another area for effective interaction is the development of health tourism, the Iranian side noted.

There were also proposals for cooperation on the introduction of a drip irrigation system in agriculture in the Ahal velayat and the possibility of exporting nitrogenous fertilizers to third countries through Iran in the form of “swap”, reports the IIC.

We previously reported that the Ahal velayat of Turkmenistan offered cooperation between museums to North Khorasan.
