New Vehicle Technical Inspection Stations Open in Turkmen Provinces

New vehicle technical inspection centers opened in the etraps of Gokdepe, Baherden, and Tejen of Ahal velayat, Koneurgench of Dashoguz velayat, Kerki of Lebap velayat, Bayramaly of Mary velayat and in the city of Turkmenbashi in Balkan velayat.

The opening of new centers not only ensures a high level of diagnostic works, but also allows the local population to carry out quick inspection work on the technical condition without traveling afar, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.

The construction of these facilities was carried out by the Construction Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan. These stations are equipped with modern innovative equipment manufactured by leading foreign companies.

The equipment makes it possible to carry out quality checks of vehicles' compliance with the requirements of environmental standards, the technical condition of the control system, the operation of the speedometer, the amount of engine exhaust gases, the condition of the lighting and the brake systems.

The new vehicle technical inspection centers operate under the traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan.
