New monuments to be built in Avaza and Turkmenbashi

On 25 June President Gurbanguly Berdymukhammedov held a video conference.

Deputy Prime Minister Mammetkhan Chakyev made a progress report on preparations for designing monuments, which are scheduled to be installed in the centre of the road junction in the national recreational zone Avaza and at the sea port of Turkmenbashi and demonstrated the slides featuring images.

The President approved the design of the monuments and selected titles for them “The shining of Avaza” and “the Caspian Sea Pearl”, the state information agency TDH reports.

In March 2017 the khyakim of Turkmenbashi Satlyk Satlykov presented the design of the monument of an oil pumpjack at one of the roundabouts to President Berdymukhammedov.
