A new modern poultry complex was commissioned Gokdepe etrap of Turkmenistan’s Ahal velayat on Tuesday, Ahal Durmuşy newspaper reported on Wednesday.
The construction of the complex, owned by the entrepreneur Topar Atayev, was carried out by the Emir Ogly Individual Enterprise. The four-hectare complex includes an administrative center, 9 poultry houses, a warehouse for household products, a warehouse for storing feed, an economic management building, water reservoirs, a water supply station and other auxiliary facilities.
The poultry farm is equipped with innovative specialized equipment, which allows raising 115,500 broiler chickens at one stage. The enterprise is designed to produce 720 tons of chicken meat annually.
The company will supply its products to food markets and trade outlets of the country under the Dogan aý brand.
Reforming agriculture in Turkmenistan creates conditions for expanding poultry, livestock, meat and dairy production. Entrepreneurs can receive soft loans for up to 10 years at 5% per annum for the implementation of investment projects to develop these sectors. Today the country is fully self-sufficient in basic food products.
