New Bulgarian Ambassador accredited to Turkmenistan

The new Ambassador of Bulgaria to Turkmenistan Ruslan Stoyanov presented his credentials to the Chairman of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova.

According to TDH, during the meeting, key aspects of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy, based on the principles of neutrality and equal partnership, were discussed. Particular attention was paid to the structure and functions of the Mejlis in the context of legislative support for reforms in the country.

The parties noted the potential for expanding cooperation in various areas, including trade and economic relations and humanitarian ties. The importance of interaction both at the bilateral level and within the framework of international organizations was emphasized, in particular in the context of the dialogue between Turkmenistan and the European Union.

Ambassador Stoyanov assured that he would make every effort to further develop and deepen Turkmen-Bulgarian relations within the framework of his diplomatic mission.
