Negotiations between the President of Turkmenistan and the Prime Minister of Malaysia took place

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is on an official visit to Malaysia, held talks with Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim, the electronic version of the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper reports.

At first, the meeting was held in a “narrow” format, then in an expanded format with the participation of delegations from the two countries.During the meeting, issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed, including trade and investment, interaction in the oil and gas sector, in the field of higher education, tourism and communications.

An exchange of views on regional and international issues of mutual interest also took place.

Following the negotiations, a ceremony of signing bilateral documents was held. Then, the President of Turkmenistan and the Prime Minister of Malaysia addressed the media.
