Negotiations between the President of Turkmenistan and the Prime Minister of Hungary were held in Budapest

The issues of expanding the Turkmen-Hungarian partnership in a number of topical areas were discussed today in Budapest by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

The head of Turkmenistan is on a working visit to the Hungarian capital.

According to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan, special attention was paid to the development of cooperation in the political-diplomatic, energy, industrial, transport and communication sectors, as well as in the field of sports.

Diplomatic relations between the two countries were established in 1992. Since that time, the Turkmen-Hungarian cooperation, based on the bonds of friendship and mutual goodwill, has been constantly strengthening. At the same time, contacts at the highest and governmental levels are of particular importance.

It should be recalled that the unchanging commitment of the two countries to the course of further building up mutually beneficial partnership was confirmed during the talks held on June 9 this year between President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who paid an official visit to Ashgabat.
