Natural Gas Output of Turkmenistan’s Lebapgazçykaryş Exceeds 12 bcm

Lebapgazçykaryş Management of Türkmengaz State Concern, the national natural gas company of Turkmenistan, produced 12.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2021. The natural gas production plan was fulfilled by 134%.

During the period, The Seydi Oil Refinery produced more than 47.3 thousand tons of gas condensate, the online newspaper of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan reported on Tuesday.

Presently, the Ymambabanebitgazgözleg expedition of the Türkmengeologiýa (Turkmen Geology) State Corporation are starting to drill exploration wells with a depth of 3200 meters in the Demirgazyk Derwüş area. According to experts, gas reserves at the area are estimated at 30 billion cubic meters.

In addition, the Lebapnebitgazgözleg expedition will start drilling two wells with a depth of 4000 meters in the Malaý gas field.

The industrial development of newly discovered gas fields in Turkmenistan resulted in the increase of the country's natural gas resources by 126 bcm in 2021.
