On Friday, at the “Yyldyz” Hotel in Ashgabat was held a festive reception on the occasion of the celebration of the 51st National Day of the UAE.
On December 2, 2022, the United Arab Emirates celebrated the 51st anniversary from the day of establishment of the country in 1971.
The initiator of this event was the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Turkmenistan. The solemn event was attended by representatives of the UAE and Turkmenistan — state leaders, public figures, diplomats of foreign states, journalists, representatives of business communities and other invited guests. The reception began with the performance of the national anthems of the UAE and Turkmenistan.
Welcoming the guests, UAE Ambassador Ahmed Alhai Hamad Khamis Al Hameli spoke about the history of the country's development, modern achievements and rich heritage.
Batyr Atdayev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan for the trade complex, textile industry and entrepreneurship, on behalf of the country's leadership, congratulated the Emirati friends on the holiday.
The evening was decorated with works of live Arabic music, as well as national dishes.
