More than 2.5% of voters in Turkmenistan gave their votes early on the Presidential elections

2.54% of voters voted early in the snap elections of the President of Turkmenistan to be held on the 12th of March.

This information was reported on the website of the Central Commission for Elections and Referendums.

“In accordance with the Article 73 of the Electoral Code of Turkmenistan, the early voting for the presidential elections of Turkmenistan continues these days,” the Central Election Commission reports.

On the website of the Commission it is noted that as per 6th of March, 2022 in Turkmenistan 2.54% of voters voted in advance, precisely:

The data on foreign representative offices are also given 28.6% of voters.

The early voting on presidential elections of Turkmenistan started on the 2nd of March and ends on 11th of March, 2022, at 18 p.m. local time.

Previously, it was reported that the early voting has started on 2577 polling stations in the country and 41 polling stations established at diplomatic missions of Turkmenistan abroad.
