More branches of Russian universities will be opened in Uzbekistan

Russian universities will increase the number of their branches in Uzbekistan, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.

In addition, the agency plans to open new branches of educational institutions in Kazakhstan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Myanmar and Cuba.

He also added that it is necessary to consider new formats of study that are not related to higher education. For example, preparatory courses or continuing education courses.

Currently, subdivisions of Lomonosov Moscow State University, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Mendeleev Russian Chemical Technical University, Herzen State Pedagogical University, VGIK, MISiS, MEPhI, MGIMO and others are operating in Uzbekistan.
