Monday Trades at Turkmen Commodity Exchange: 16.8 Million Manats

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) during Thursday trades registered deals on the procurement of products for 16.8 million manats.

The Ministry of Industry and Construction Production of Turkmenistan purchased 500 tons of A500C rebar from Russian sellers for 7.5 million manats, the SCRMET announced on Tuesday.

The local businesses bought 500 tons of granulated technical sulfur worth 1 million manats for the domestic market.

Representatives of Turkmen business circles also procured different kinds of handmade Turkmen carpets worth 38.8 thousand manats.

Moreover, the local business signed a deal on purchase of 500 tons of high density polyethylene of T50-500 brand for 8,2 million manats.

Established in 1994, the SCRMET is the main body regulating export-import operations in Turkmenistan.
