A biopic (biographical tape) will be shot about the life of pop idol Michael Jackson, and his nephew Jafar Jackson will star in the title role, writes Film.ru with reference to the Deadline portal.
The new film, already titled “Michael”, will be filmed at Lionsgate Studios, directed by Antoine Fuqua, written by John Logan, and produced by Graham King.

Jafar is the son of Jermaine Jackson, one of Michael's brothers and a member of the Jackson family ensemble The Jackson 5.
The plot of the film will focus on the rise of Michael Jackson as one of the greatest pop artists of the XX century, as well as allegations of inappropriate behavior towards children.
The exact release date of the tape about Jackson is still unknown.
