Merchant Marine Fleet of Turkmenistan Reduces Tariffs for Road Transportation

Marine Merchant Fleet Closed Joint Stock Company of Turkmenistan reduced tariffs for road vehicle transportations on the Turkmenbashi - Baku (Alyat) - Turkmenbashi route from March 1 of the current year.

Maritime transportation is one of the most important transport sectors in modern international trade, as well as a part of multimodal transport. Reduced tariffs for road vehicle transportations will provide the clients of the company with convenient conditions for the transportation of the vehicles.

Merchant Marine Fleet CJSC has two RO-PAX vessels Bagtyýar and Berkarar ferries. The ferries have the capacity to transport 200 passengers and 54 vehicles.

Last year, the Marine Merchant Fleet transported about 22 thousand vehicles.

The one-way carriage with a discount will cost $1,000 and the round-trip fare will be $1,600.

In January 2023, Marine Merchant Fleet CJSC engaged the Balkan vessel to carry out feeder container shipments along the Turkmenbashi - Baku - Turkmenbashi route.
