A cultural program was organized for members of the PRC delegation that visited Turkmenistan, headed by Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) Hao Mingjing, including a visit to the city of Arkadag.
As part of their visit to Arkadag, the guests also met with the city’s hyakim, reports the IIC.
Guests were introduced to digital and “green” technologies operating in a “smart” city. It was emphasized that the city of Arkadag is an indicator of the high level of economic development of Turkmenistan and its enormous potential.
Members of the delegation were told about the construction of the second stage of city facilities.
The Chinese side expressed sincere gratitude for the warm meeting and the opportunity to get acquainted with the “smart” city. The guests emphasized that Arkadag is exemplary in the field of urban planning.
