Mejlis of Turkmenistan Ratifies Series of International Agreements

The Mejlis of Turkmenistan ratified a series of key international agreements during a session of the seventh convocation on Saturday.

As reported by the official media of Turkmenistan on Monday, the agreements include a treaty on investment protection with Kazakhstan, a memorandum on international road transport with Mongolia, and documents for the country's accession to the Convention on Transit Trade and the Agreement to establish an international analytical center for landlocked countries.

Parliamentarians also approved the draft Law on the State Budget of Turkmenistan for 2025 and a resolution on the execution of the State Budget for 2023.

During the session, lawmakers approved amendments to several legislative acts, including the Labor Code, the Code of Administrative Offenses, and the law on currency regulation.
