Media: Serdar Azmoun will move to “Sevilla” on loan

Iranian footballer of Turkmen origin Serdar Azmoun, who plays for the German “Bayer” Leverkusen, will continue his career in Spain. According to El Desmarque, the forward will move to “Sevilla” on loan.

Azmoun moved from “Zenit” to “Bayer” Leverkusen in January 2022. In his first season, the striker played 44 matches for the German team, scored five goals and provided five assists. Last season, the forward was loaned to the

Italian “Roma”, for whom Azmoun played 29 matches in all competitions, scoring three goals and four assists. Azmoun's current contract with “Bayer” runs until the summer of 2027.

It is worth noting that Serdar Azmoun is an honorary member of the Humanitarian Association of Turkmen of the World and the Mekan Society of Turkmen Culture in St. Petersburg.

The last time Serdar Azmoun visited Turkmenistan was in March 2024 as part of the Iranian national team, which beat the Turkmen team with a score of 1:0 in Ashgabat within the framework of the 2026 World Cup qualifying tournament.
