A new manufacturing facility specializing in polyester and polypropylene fiber production, owned by the private company Berk önüm, has opened in Mulkamash, Vekilbazar district of Mary province.
As reported by Türkmenistan newspaper on Tuesday, the construction of this new industrial facility was carried out by the private company Dana çözgütler.
The production capacity of the new facility, which will specialize in manufacturing polyester and polypropylene fiber widely used in the light industry, is designed to produce 20 tonnes of polyester or 10 tonnes of polypropylene fiber from local raw materials per day.
State-of-the-art equipment from globally renowned Chinese companies has been installed here, enabling the production of synthetic padding.
According to the report, polyester fiber is suitable for making soft toys, bedding, and other textile products. The products are widely used in medical and sanitary activities, insulation works, as well as in the production of geotextiles.
