In the first match of the 1/4 finals of the Champions League, the English “Manchester City” achieved a convincing victory over the German “Bayern” at home.
The meeting, held in Manchester, ended with the score 3:0 in favor of the hosts. As part of the winners in the first half, Rodri scored (27th minute), and in the second half Bernardo Silva (70) and Erling Haaland (77). For the Norwegian, this goal was already the 11th in the Champions League this season.
The second leg of the 1/4 finals will be held in Munich on April 19.
In the semi-final, the winner of the pairing between “Bayern” and “Manchester City” will play with the best in the confrontation between the Spanish “Real Madrid” and the English “Chelsea”.
