1. By decree of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the Russian singer Nyusha was awarded the honorary title “Honored Artist of Turkmenistan”. The Russian performer was awarded this honorary title for her special services in strengthening friendship and brotherhood, good neighborliness and cooperation between the peoples of Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation.
2.The main New Year tree of Turkmenistan, 44 meters high, installed on the square of the “Alem” cultural and entertainment center in Ashgabat, became the tallest in the CIS.
The New Year tree in Ashgabat has been recognized as the tallest in the CIS for the fourth year in a row, and each time it gets taller. 4 thousand toys and 55 thousand LED light bulbs were used to decorate the main New Year tree of Turkmenistan.
3.The grand opening of the new office of the oil company Dragon Oil was held in Ashgabat.The ceremony was attended by the heads of the “Turkmenneft” State Concern, the Dragon Oil company and representatives of the UAE Embassy.
Chairman of the “Turkmenneft” State Concern Guvanch Agajanov and Dragon Oil executive director Ali Rashid Al Jarwan noted in their speeches that the opening of a new office marks a new stage in the development of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the company.
4.Turkmenportal and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan presented a joint project for business accommodation on the sidelines of a multidisciplinary youth exhibition in Ashgabat.
Within the framework of the partnership, all members of the UIET receive the right to preferential placement of publications and advertising on Turkmenportal resources.This will permit companies to effectively promote their products and services among a wide Internet audience and attract new customers and partners.

5.President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution on rewarding young people - winners of the competition “Treasury of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi” with a gold chain and a cash prize in the amount of 3500 manats.
The high award was awarded for the contribution to the popularization of the creative heritage of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly Fragi, the work being carried out to study his literary heritage and bring to life the humanistic ideals of the poet.

6.A flock of hungry jackdaws in the Swedish town of Gävle has begun eating the straw goat that is placed annually in the central square as a Christmas decoration.
The city administration decided not to interfere with this “natural process”.In recent decades, the Christmas goat in Gävle has become famous not only for its size, but also for the fact that it is regularly set on fire.
The goat “lived” until the New Year only 19 times in 57 years.
7.In the UK, doctors performed an operation to remove a live spider and its nest from the ear of a 30 years old local resident.The woman went to the hospital complaining of a cracking sound in her ear and severe pain.
Doctors prescribed her medication for the infection, but the pain continued.Then Lucy Wilde decided to find out for herself what was happening in her ear.She inserted a microcamera there and saw in the ear canal a spider's nest and its owner the size of a little fingernail.

8.Five Toyota Fortuner SUVs were presented on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan to the winners of the World Kurash Wrestling Championship, which was held in Ashgabat in November this year.
Turkmen athletes won 15 medals of various denominations at this prestigious tournament.Their coaches also received their awards - 2 Toyota Camry cars.It was also noted that Dortkuli Tejenov, who led the men’s team, and Shirin Kubayeva, who led the women’s team, were awarded the honorary title “Honored Coach of Turkmenistan”.
9.During the scientific and practical conference and exhibition dedicated to the year “Happy youth with Arkadag Serdar” in Ashgabat, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, the “Arkadag” football club was presented with a new club bus of the German brand MAN.
This gift was a reward for the team's successful performance in the 2023 season.In its debut season, “Arkadag” won the title of champion of the Higher League and also won the Turkmenistan Cup.
In the Cup final, the team defeated “Ahal” with a score of 3:0.On the sides of the donated bus are the club’s logo, an image of Akhan’s horse and a silhouette of the Kopetdag Range.
The team was led to this success by 43 years old head coach Vladimir Bayramov.
