Macron won the presidential election

Emmanuel Macron, acting head of state, won in the second round of the presidential election in France. It was reported by the TASS agency.

It is noted that Macron gained 58.5% of the vote, and his opponent Marine Le Pen, from the National Unification Party 41.5%.

The heads of other states congratulate Macron on his re-election as president of France, and his rival Le Pen has officially admitted defeat.
