"Lullaby" Nury Halmamedov sounded at a concert in Bosnian Zenica

The Balkan tour of the Youth Chamber Orchestra TURKSOY ended Concert in the Bosnian city of Zenica, timed to the 25th anniversary of the International Organization of Turkic Culture.

The public showed great interest in the musical evening, in which the Chamber Orchestra of Zenica took part.One of the striking numbers of the program was the "Lullaby" of Turkmen composer Nury Halmamedov, performed by a joint orchestra team led by Amna Huseynagich.

During the tour with performing skills of the Youth Chamber Orchestra TURKSOY met residents of Macedonia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Kosovo. The tour was organized with the assistance of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey and the Yunus Emre Institute.

Six concerts took place in following cities: Pristina, Prizren, Cetinje, Mostar, Sarajevo and Zenica.The staff consists of young musicians from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Turkmenistan.Conductor - Mustafa Mehmandarov from Azerbaijan, who came to the Youth Chamber Orchestra in 2010 as a violinist.

After completing his musical education in 2016, he became the conductor's console.This year the young maestro for the first time directed the orchestra during the Balkan tour.

"Our concerts were a great success," Mustafa Mehmandarov said in the conversation. - For the members of the team, joint performances are, above all, creative communication.We learned a lot from each other, became friends.

I participate in the projects of the International Organization of Turkic Culture for almost eight years, thanks to which not only my career, but my whole life is changed.

TURKSOY Secretary-General Dyusen Kaseinov, commenting on the results of the Balkan tour, said: "We are able again to see the ability of music to unite people regardless of language, religious beliefs or ethnic origin.
