Lev Yashin included in the list of the most influential football players in history

The legendary Soviet goalkeeper Lev Yashin was included in the list of the most influential football players of all time according to the British publication FourFourTwo. The list includes 50 players who had the greatest influence on the development of football, RIA reports.

In addition to Yashin, the list includes such world football stars as Pele, Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane, Thierry Henry, Andres Iniesta, David Beckham and others. The list also features two women - England's Kelly Smith and Brazil women's national team striker Marta.

Lev Yashin - Olympic champion in 1956, European champion in 1960, bronze medalist at the 1966 World Cup, best goalkeeper of the 20th century according to FIFA, the only goalkeeper in the history of football to receive the Golden Ball (1963).
