Leaders of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan Arrive in Ashgabat

The leaders of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, Emomali Rahmon and Sadyr Japarov respectively, have arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the International Forum "The Interconnection of Times and Civilizations the Foundation of Peace and Development," dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the poet Magtymguly Pyragy, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media on Friday.

To mark this important event, Ashgabat International Airport was adorned with the national flags of friendly nations. The heads of state were warmly welcomed by official representatives upon their arrival.

During the visit, negotiations are planned to discuss further development of bilateral relations and prospects for expanding cooperation in various mutually beneficial areas.

Earlier, the Presidents of Russia, Armenia, Iran, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, and the Rais of Tatarstan arrived in Turkmenistan.
