Last Week of May: Exchange Export Deals Reach $38.5 Million

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) reported concluding deals totaling $38,469,000 last week, as reported by SCRMET.

Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Türkiye, and Afghanistan purchased low-sulfur fuel oil, polypropylene, base oil produced by Türkmennebit's technological facilities, as well as polyethylene containers produced by Türkmenhimiýa, and illuminating kerosene for foreign currency.

Representatives of business circles from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan acquired cotton yarn and raw cotton fabric. Local entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene produced by Türkmennebit, float glass, and raw silk for the domestic market. The total value of transactions amounted to over 33,878,000 manats.

Last week, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan recorded 17 transactions in total.
