Kyrgyzstan to Host Central Asian Heads Summit This Month

The fourth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia will be held in Kyrgyzstan on July 21.

The preparation and agenda of the summit of heads of Central Asian states Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan were discussed by the Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov and Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in a telephone conversation on Monday, according to the Press Service of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The summit will reportedly take place in in the resort town of Cholpon-Ata on the coast of Lake Issyk-Kul.

In the conversation, it was stated that all leaders of the Central Asian countries have already accepted the invitation to participate in this event.

The first summit of the Heads of States of the Central Asian countries was held in March 2018 in the capital of Kazakhstan Nur-Sultan, the second in November 2019 in Tashkent, and the third in August 2021 in the Avaza National Tourist Zone in Turkmenistan.
