Journalists from Turkmenistan will go to the Caspian Media Forum in Astrakhan

Journalists from Turkmenistan received an invitation to the VIII Caspian Media Forum, which will be held in Astrakhan in September 2023. This international event will bring together representatives of the media, public authorities, experts and the public from five countries of the Caspian region: Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Russia and Turkmenistan.

The theme of the forum is "Public diplomacy and social media as a factor in bringing peoples together." The forum participants will discuss the role of public diplomacy in strengthening trust and mutual understanding between the countries and peoples of the Caspian Sea, as well as share best practices and new formats of interaction in social media.

The forum will consist of a grand opening, a plenary session, discussion sessions and presentations. One of the key topics will be the development of the North-South International Transport Corridor, which links Russia with Iran, India and other Asian states.

The winners of the international competition of journalistic works "Caspian without borders" will also be awarded at the forum.

The Caspian Media Forum is an important platform for the exchange of experience, ideas and opinions between journalists of the Caspian region. It contributes to the development of the professional community, the improvement of the quality of information and the expansion of cooperation between the media.
