The host of the next 95th Academy Awards ceremony on March 12-13, 2023 will be the comedian actor Jimmy Kimmel, writes the website Film.ru.

On the occasion of his election Kimmel made a joking statement to the press:

“Being invited to host the “Oscars” is either a great honor or a trap. Either way, I am grateful to the Academy for asking me so quickly after everyone good said no”.

Nominations for the 2023 “Oscars” will be announced on January 24.
