Japanese Companies Interested in Expanding Presence in Turkmen Market

Japanese Companies Interested in Expanding Presence in Turkmen Market President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov welcomed Hiroyuki Tsubai, Chairman of the Turkmen-Japanese Committee for Economic Cooperation and Managing Vice President of ITOCHU Corporation, in Ashgabat on Monday.

During the meeting, Tsubai highlighted the favorable conditions for Japanese businesses in the Turkmen market and emphasized the strong interest of Japanese companies in collaborating with Turkmenistan.

At the beginning of the negotiations, Tsubai expressed gratitude to the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, for his contributions to the development of Turkmen-Japanese relations and stressed the importance of ongoing partnership, as reported by the news program Watan habarlary.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that the 15th meeting of the Turkmen-Japanese Economic Cooperation Group would provide new momentum for economic interaction between the two countries. The meeting also acknowledged the long-standing cooperation between Turkmenistan and major Japanese companies, highlighting key areas of collaboration such as the chemical and gas industries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides exchanged wishes for health and prosperity.
