January-July 2023: Seydi Refinery’s Oil Products Exports

Oil products produced at the Seydi Oil Refinery in the Lebap province of Turkmenistan in January-July 2023 were exported to Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Georgia and the United Arab Emirates.

Over the seven months of this year, the Seydi refinery exported 24.5 thousand tons of motor gasoline to Uzbekistan, about 60 thousand tons of diesel fuel to Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, 20 thousand tons of heavy vacuum kerosene to Georgia, and 1.5 thousand tons of fuel oul to the United Arab Emirates, the official Turkmen media reported on Thursday.

In addition, over the period from January to July of this year, more than 265.3 thousand tons of crude oil were processed at the refinery in the Lebap province, and the corresponding plan was fulfilled by 106 percent.

During the specified period, Seydi refinery produced more than 108.3 thousand tons of gasoline, about 65.2 thousand tons of diesel fuel, about 16 thousand tons of heavy vacuum kerosene, about 11.4 thousand tons of road bitumen and 1.5 thousand tons of diesel fuel.

In 2015, a plant for the production of road bitumen with an annual capacity of 37.2 thousand tons was commissioned in the structure of the plant. In 2017, the refinery also launched a catalytic reforming unit with an annual capacity of 500,000 tons of high-octane gasoline.
