Israel celebrates the 10th anniversary of the opening of the embassy in Turkmenistan

A reception was held in Ashgabat on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Israeli embassy in Turkmenistan. The event, organized by Ambassador Ismail Khaldi, was attended by high-ranking guests from the Turkmen government, the diplomatic corps and public organizations, News Central Asia reports.

In his welcoming speech, Ambassador Khaldi noted the successes and opportunities of bilateral relations between Israel and Turkmenistan, which span 30 years.

He recalled the mutual visits of the leaders of both countries, cooperation in different fields and common values and interests of two different, but innovative societies.

Ismail Khaldi also expressed his gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov for his wise leadership and contribution to the development of the country. The Israeli ambassador thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and its staff for their support and friendship, and also praised his embassy team for their hard work and dedication.

Khaldi ended his speech by saying that he is optimistic about the future of the relationship and that he is here to help and share Israel's knowledge and experience with Turkmenistan for the benefit of its people.
