The neutrality of Turkmenistan and its importance in achieving progress through a peaceful and constructive dialogue, and the process of constructing the country’s image these were the topics of a virtual roundtable held today with the participation of representatives of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic named after A.
K.Dikambayev.
The moderator of the online meeting was the senior lecturer of the Department of Social Sciences, Candidate of Philosophy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Chinar Rustemova, among the speakers were the rector of the IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiev, and the head of the Department of Social Sciences, Candidate of Philosophy Ogulkurban Ezimova.
The rector of the Turkmen diplomatic university said that the current online roundtable discussion will serve as a good opportunity to exchange views and experience in training, as well as improving the qualifications of diplomatic personnel and conducting fundamental, scientific and applied research.
He stressed that cooperation between universities of the two countries has a solid foundation and is aimed at expanding opportunities for the exchange of experience and scientific opportunities in the training of future diplomats.
I am convinced that today’s “round table” in the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the IRI of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic named after K.
Dikambayeva will positively affect the strengthening of relations in the field of education and science between the two friendly states, said Jumamyrat Gurbangeldiev.
The participants of the event noted that the most important resource for national development is the positive image of the country, in the formation of which the components of the entire system of values prevailing in a given society are taken into account.
Speakers via video link Ainur Dzhorobekova, Temirbek Nurmatov, Nazgul Abalova, Kemal Arazov and others noted that the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan is the basis of the foreign policy of the state, which includes the international legal framework for cooperation, scientific, cultural and educational relations between countries, and also branding and image of the state.
The participants of the online meeting emphasized that the country’s brand is becoming its main capital and acts as a strategic component in the development of the state. This is both a general sense of meaningfulness, and a sense of national pride, and an incentive to move forward towards common ideals and goals.
