Iranian Entrepreneurs Visit Abadan Haly Carpet Factory

Entrepreneurs from the Islamic Republic of Iran on Wednesday visited the carpet factory of the OJSC Abadan Haly.

The delegation included the head of the Iran-Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ramezan Bahrami, export specialist of Iran Diba, Elham Fallahiserish, export manager of Iran Diba, Mohammad Mahdi Alaghehband, and representatives of dozens of Iranian companies, the specialist from Abadan Haly informed Business Turkmenistan online publication.

Members of the Iranian business delegation toured the textile production, yarn, and textile product preparation departments at the Abadan Haly factory, acquainting themselves with the operations.

Factory specialists briefed the delegation on carpet types, patterns, and raw materials utilized in production.

OJSC Abadan Haly specialist reported that during the meeting, the parties emphasized the opportunities for cooperation between the carpet factory and Iranian enterprises.

Founded in 2016, Abadan Haly is the largest carpet manufacturer in Turkmenistan. The factory produces more than 400 types of carpet products, such as Nusaý, Kerwenli, Güneş, and Ýalkym.

The polypropylene used in carpet production is purchased from the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR). Additional raw materials, such as jute, dye, synthetic fiber, and glue, are sourced from leading companies in Türkiye, Bangladesh, and Europe.
