Iran's Energy Minister visited an agricultural exhibition in Ashgabat

The grand opening of the 16th specialized Iran Agrofood exhibition took place in Ashgabat with the participation of Iranian Energy Minister Abbas Aliabadi and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan for Trade Nokerguly Atagulyev.

According to Mehr news agency, at the beginning of the event, Nokerguly Atagulyev read out a message from President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, which emphasized the importance and necessity of expanding cooperation between the two countries. Then, Minister Abbas Aliabadi expressed hope for strengthening economic ties and interaction between Iranian and Turkmen entrepreneurs in his speech.

The exhibition featured more than 62 Iranian companies operating in the fields of agricultural equipment, food, fertilizers, irrigation systems and packaging. Participants showcased their production capabilities and potential for expanding economic cooperation between the countries.

After the opening ceremony, the participants viewed the exhibition.

It is worth noting that on December 7, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with Iranian Energy Minister Abbas Ali Abadi and Chairman of the Central Bank of Iran Mohammadreza Farzi.
