Iran introduces visa-free travel with 28 countries

Iran unilaterally canceled the visa regime for citizens of 28 countries, including Belarus, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan, Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Uzbekistan and Japan. This decision comes into force on February 4, 2024, MIR 24 reports with reference to IRNA.

Indian citizens will not require a visa only if crossing the border by air.
