The international investment forum "Smart City "Arkadag" started on Friday in the Markaw hotel of Arkadag city, the official Turkmen media reported.
Along with Turkmen entrepreneurs, the forum was attended by representatives of more than 10 foreign companies and organizations.
According to the report, the first session discussed prospects for sustainable development and new technologies in cities.The second session featured presentations by Vice President of John Deere for CIS countries, Regional Director of International Sales JCD UK LTD, the head of the company Samo of Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan's investors.
The representatives of the companies discussed investment opportunities in Turkmenistan.
The forum also included discussions on the digital infrastructure of "Smart" cities and innovative digital technologies.
In the framework of the international forum, bilateral meetings were held and a number of documents were signed.
