An Information Center on Sports and Youth Policy will be established in Turkmenistan. Deputy Prime Minister Sapardurdy Toylyev reported to the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the work underway in this area at today's Government meeting, the State Information Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister, this will facilitate to increasing the opportunities for Turkmenistan's participation in Internet media, setting up websites and other web resources as well as improvement of newspapers and magazines.
After hearing the report, the President of Turkmenistan focused on the need to introduce digital technologies in all sectors of economy. According to Berdimuhamedov, active introduction of innovative technologies directly contributes to successful solution of important tasks as well as to coverage of “great achievements of the
sovereign Motherland" in the world. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov referred specific orders related to the above-mentioned Information Center establishment to the Deputy Prime Minister.
In addition, Toylyev was instructed to take the required steps to locate the social facilities infrastructure, especially medical and service sectors, in accordance with the requirements and in strict compliance with sanitary standards.
